Ingredients for making Easy Apple Dumplings with Crescent Roll Dough Recipe
- cooking spray
- 1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, cut into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
- 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions for making Easy Apple Dumplings with Crescent Roll Dough Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a glass 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Wrap each apple slice with a crescent roll. Place in the prepared pan.
- Combine apple juice, sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave until butter is melted, heating in 30-second intervals. Mix well. Pour evenly over rolls. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until golden and apples are soft, about 15 minutes more. Serve hot.
