Ingredients for making Easy Apple Dumplings with Crescent Roll Dough Recipe

  • cooking spray
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, cut into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions for making Easy Apple Dumplings with Crescent Roll Dough Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a glass 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Wrap each apple slice with a crescent roll. Place in the prepared pan.
  3. Combine apple juice, sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave until butter is melted, heating in 30-second intervals. Mix well. Pour evenly over rolls. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until golden and apples are soft, about 15 minutes more. Serve hot.
